Post Construction Cleaning Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team, specializing in post-construction cleaning. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and preparing newly constructed or renovated residential and commercial spaces for occupancy. Your work will ensure that these spaces are free from dust, debris, and construction residue, leaving them spotless and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cleaning of newly constructed or renovated spaces, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all surfaces.
• Clean and polish windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
• Remove construction debris, such as drywall dust, sawdust, and packaging materials.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, and other common areas.
• Ensure all fixtures, including light fixtures, appliances, and cabinetry, are cleaned and free of dust or smudges.
• Safely handle and dispose of hazardous materials following OSHA guidelines.
• Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines while maintaining high cleaning standards.
• Follow specific instructions provided for each cleaning assignment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in post-construction cleaning is preferred.
• Reliable transportation to and from job sites is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods.
• Physical stamina and the ability to occasionally lift heavy objects.
• Flexibility in availability; work will be scheduled on an as-needed basis depending on project timelines.
